We are inspired by
Tringa birds are migrating offshore birds to Sri Lanka. It is a genus of waders, containing the shanks and tattlers. They are mainly freshwater birds, often with brightly colored legs. The old genus name means “a different leg” in Greek referring to the leg scales that differentiate these birds from other Tattler birds. They are typically associated with northern hemisphere temperate regions for breeding. Some of these bird varieties nest in trees, using the old nests of other birds, usually thrushes and is commonly sighted throughout the year on fresh streams and marshy lands in Yala.
